I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, I felt relaxed and welcomed. The beds were incredibly comfortable — truly some of the best I’ve ever slept on in a hotel, so rare to find!!!! Made every penny worth it, by itself. After long days of traveling and exploring, sinking into that bed felt like heaven!!!! The attention to cleanliness also gave me so much peace of mind😌 One of my favorite parts was the Alaskan artwork displayed throughout the hotel. It added such a warm, authentic charm and really made the space feel unique and connected to the local culture. There’s also a delightful little café on-site that served delicious treats and great coffee — the perfect way to start the day or unwind in the afternoon. All in all, it was a peaceful, beautiful place to stay, and I would absolutely come back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alaska who wants comfort, local flavor, and a touch of charm.

Located just on the edge of downtown, the location is perfect for avoiding tourist crowds while remaining in walking distance to attractions and cafes. The staff is especially accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking to take a trip to Anchorage!

5+ I've stayed at the Highliner a few times and this was the best stay ever. AC and ceiling fan in the room was a plus! Also, the ladies that answered our call and helped us get into our room were very nice and quick to respond! We'll definitelybe back!

Our stay at this hotel was great, don’t be deceived by the two stars, the amenities are great- our room had a microwave and a mini fridge, cute interiors and hot water. The staff at the lobby are very friendly and have a good selection of coffee and breakfast food at the cafe there. The location is great and felt quite safe. No complaints from our stay, would recommend 100%

I decided to stay the night in Anchorage at the last minute. I booked online on their site and quickly received a text with how to get into my room without needing to go to the front desk. It was after their normal front desk hours and my room had some issues. I called the after hours number and they quickly answered and moved me to another room that was great. In the morning I confirmed that I did not need to go to the front desk to check out. This place was very convenient and the service was amazing even though I never actually met any of the staff. I would definitely use them again.

I needed a quick last minute place to stay after some scheduling errors with my long term stay I had reserved. This place was perfect! The ladies here were so helpful and sweet! They even extended my check out free of charge to accommodate me out of kindness. The room was perfect. Comfy big bed. Bathroom was cute, even makeup cleaner washcloths. TV, fridge, microwave, keurig etc. Served the purpose of giving me a great place to feel safe and relax in a city I had never been. As a bonus there is a coffee shop on the main floor which was great! I recommend this place! Thank you for your kindness!
